These intimate, romantic bridals at the Capitol Building downtown Salt Lake City take a timeless and artful approach to showing M + J’s love.

Sessions

I am excited to finally share these intimate bridals at the Capitol Building. There was an excited, slightly nervous but a ready energy that filled the elevator as we rode it up to the very top floor this day downtown Salt Lake City to meet J for the first look. M’s dress paired perfectly with her bouquet from The Potted Pansy. Mandy is a luxury florist who I can’t help but call a fellow artist. I enjoy working with her as much as I can. I felt like I got my own mini first look in the bathroom when I met up with her! She looked stunning.

After J turned around to see his bride for the first time, emotions were high and he couldn’t help but yell “YES!” after he got a good long look. It was so sweet. We made our rounds through the Capitol Building, exploring the architecture and enjoying each other. I felt like an artist as I played with the lines of the stairs. I couldn’t stop taking pictures of her veil. The soft texture added so much movement. I enjoyed telling the story of their love in such a quiet and intimate way. The Capitol really helps with those intimate feelings and I will always suggest going there to clients. We decided to stay mostly indoors as the weather and wind started to pick up. If you’re looking for a location for your own intimate bridal session or a wedding venue in Utah, consider the Capitol Building! Very classy and timeless. As a photographer, I spend a lot of time here doing bridals, engagements and family sessions. In the spring, the cherry blossoms bloom and it becomes a very popular spot to do photos.

I can’t wait to share their May wedding day at Snowbasin Ski Resort here in Utah.
